Can't loose weight or gained weight on a raw food diet


There’s many factors that could tie into not losing weight on a raw food diet. You may find yourself very frustrated wondering why you’re not able to lose weight when you stop eating cooked food? You should be able to lose weight when you start eating healthy primarily fruits and vegetables so why can’t you lose weight on these foods? You must understand that when you compromise your health for so many years and you end up damaging your body to where you stop digesting properly, utilizing properly, absorbing properly and eliminating properly, it could take some time to rebalance the body as a system to get things flowing, but when things get flowing and eliminating the weight should easily fall off.

One of the problems that people make when transitioning to a raw food diet is that there not on a raw food diet that’s more compatible with their species and they end up consuming way too many nuts and seeds and vegetables not understanding that the majority of your calories should come from fruits. The human body is designed for carbon not lipids. If your eating a lot of fat in the form of avocados, coconuts and nuts and seeds and having trouble losing weight it’s because your body is out of balance because it’s not designed for high fat diets mixed with high carbs. Too much fat and carbs in the diet can create fermentation, and fermentation can cause weight gain or suppress weight loss.

When somebody is not filtering through their kidneys because they have been clogged up on the diet that cause the weight gain or weight issues in the begin with, you could end up stirring up a lot of metabolic waste material in the body and mucus, and end up with water retention, because you’re not eliminating these waste through your kidneys, bowels, skin and lungs properly. If this is the issue and you’re not filtering through your kidneys, then it’s going to be very difficult to lose weight until you create this pathway of elimination.

Excess water, and not supporting your kidneys with herbs because they hsve been so damaged and depleted from the high protein/ starch diets you were on before you made the change, can suppress the kidneys ability to heal, and break open the plaques that clog them, so that you could eliminate the waste from the lymphatic system so that the body can function as a system again to bring things in the balance so that the body will eliminate and you can lose weight in the process.

Most people that are overweight or obese have a kidney and adrenal problem. When the thyroid is down this can also cause issues with metabolism and make it difficult to lose weight. It’s much more than just a raw food diet that’s going to cause the weight loss, a lot of the times people need the herbs that are designed to target specific glands to turn on their function on so that you can get better utilization and create the proper hormones you need so that the body will detoxify properly, and heal properly, hense allow the weight loss.

Adrenal glands and thyriod down!

Usually somebody that’s overweight or obese have weak adrenal glands and their cortisone is low which helps to regulate and control sugar metabolism. When cortisone is low, it in return effects sugar metabolism, causing incomplete sugar metabolism and this will cause excessive glycogen to be stored which is (fat) even though fruits and vegetables are simple sugars and are the easiest for the body to metabolize, for those that have very weak adrenal glands don’t do well metabolizing any sugar so if any fermentation takes place this will call for the fungal family to come in and clean this up, and in return excess weight gain or excess weight loss will be a byproduct of fungal overgrowth.

Because the thyroid gland controls the rate of metabolism this will determine how fast or how slow somebody digests their food. If your thyroid is overactive, which is a low-functioning thyroid your foods may not properly digest, and this can promote fermentation leading to weight gain or a difficult time losing weight.

The only way to fix your glands in order for them to function so that things will come into balance so that you could lose the excess weight, is going to be through time and effort regarding detoxification. Once the kidneys open up and filter out the acids that suppress the glands that are responsible for proper function, they will heal, turn on again and the body can come back into balance, and you will be able to eliminate your waste properly and lose the weight. I don’t mean to come off graphic here but most people’s weight gain is due to the sewage overload in their body and because there endocrine glands are down and the lymphatic system is clogged up and stagnant.

If your on a fruit based diet, you shouldn’t have any issue gaining weight, and if you do it’s only water retention because fruits are very low in fat and do not cause weight gain. If your eating a lot of melons, and you have a clogged up GI tract, and your kidneys are weak, your going to fill up with water. In this case it’s best to limit your high water fruits like the melons, stick to your low water content fruits, and dry fast until you open up your kidneys well, eliminate the waste, clean out the bowels with the herbs, and eventually you won’t run into water retention problems when you eat the melons or you drink the juice. I can imagine the frustration that your experiencing not able to lose weight, or even gain weight on a fruit based diet that’s extremely low in fat, and digest very quickly, but you must understand the endocrine gland system and how badly you damage them with the acid/mucus forming diets you were on before you made the switch. It could take time for the body to heal these issues and allow the elimination process to take place effectively enough to lose the weight. You must become a master and detoxification with getting your kidneys to filter, cleaning out the mucoid plaque buildup in the bowels, and the weight will fall off you quite effectively. Get herbs for the thyroid, adrenal glands and don’t overlook the pituitary gland as well, and give it some time and when the glands heal up, the weight should come off.

You must also understand that holding unnecessary stress and anxiety can also suppress the ability for the body to lose weight and even cause weight gain. Stress will only suppress the adrenal glands ability to heal, and they also suppress the kidneys ability to filter and detoxify lymphatic waste from the body. If you haven’t already noticed that stress can also cause constipation. When the body is tight and under flight and fight response, it suppresses the body’s ability to detoxify and that’s why you hold on to access weight. You must understand how the glands are also a tied to the emotional body, so when your mind isn’t thinking straight, this will suppress the glands ability to heal which controls the way that the body functions when it comes to its proper balance.

Your adrenal glands affect the emotional state and when their low is can create anxiety, shyness, loneliness, and feeling isolated in life. They control sugar metabolism. If you’re not in balance with sugar metabolism because your adrenal glands are down affecting your ability to utilize sugar properly, and your mind is causing you to stress this will only eat create a longer process for you to heal this important gland that a lot of the times is responsible for why people have weight issues. If your always getting down on yourself, and you don’t love yourself, you often feel lonely and depressed, then that’s more than likely that your thyroid is down and if you don’t find that meditative state and learn to be content, it will be difficult for the body to heal this gland so that It can help get rid of these defects when it comes to the emotional body.

I strongly recommend combining your foods properly to avoid fermentation especially with weak adrenals and a poor functioning thyroid. If your metabolism is off, and your pancreas isn’t functioning, you need to retrain your body to eat simple, to make up for these imbalances while the body heals itself. I strongly recommend mono fruit meals, and simple salads. Avoid raw oils, nuts and seeds, and hard to digest vegetables. The more simple you keep this the better results you will experience. It’s not about adding on to fix things out of balance in the body, but rather it’s about eliminating, so that the body will detoxify effectively. If Your going to eat fats in the form of avocados then I would strongly recommend only one a day because more than one avocado can be a lot of fat in the diet and also could suppress lymphatic movement, and also too many fats mixed with carbohydrates could create fermentation which is something you already have a struggle with and that’s why your having trouble losing weight.

I also strongly recommend in the beginning stage of transitioning to a raw food diet to go on a solid food vacation with both fruit and green juice, a couple enemas a week to clean out the excess to Terrain in the body that’s blocking the flow of energy causing poor elimination of metabolic waste. I don’t recommend staying on juice for long-term only used as a tool to clean out any excess plaque, and then to return to eating your foods whole as a maintenance lifestyle. I think 15 days is enough to clean out the bowels if your drinking both green and fruit juice. The green juice in my opinion helps to eliminate the parasites and fungus, because chlorophyll kills these microbes, the fruit juice is an astringent puller and will break up the hardened plaques. I believe their both used as effective tools to kick-start your new raw food diet, so that you could benefit more from it instead of filling up with water and feeling bloated all the time. Remember that vegetables are hard to digest for humans anyways, and the cruciferous vegetables will cause a lot of gas and bloaty symptoms. Learn to listen to your body, and understand that bring things back in the balance from years of abuse, may take some time but understand that raw living foods do not cause weight gain, it’s our bodies that cause these problems and it can take time for the whole system to function as a unit, before these things start to happen.
