Eating too much fat and protein on a raw food diet


There are many different raw food diets, and some would argue that they’re all beneficial. I see some truth in that, compared to the average American diet, or any other cooked food diet the people pursue. Raw living foods no matter what kind of diet that may be weather that’s a high green, high fruit, high-fat, high-protein is always going to be better for the body to assimilate and utilize versus cooked food diets. No animal in nature eats their food cooked besides humans. So if this is the case then every species will thrive more on raw foods regardless of what the diet format is. However I think it’s important to get our focus on what our species is designed to eat rather than getting caught up in fad diets, and trying to mask and control symptoms, thinking that your body can’t tolerate certain foods, because you have some kind of allergy or sensitivity. The reality is you have a backed up lymphatic system, and any sensitivity or allergy you have is not because it’s the food, but rather it’s your body and it’s backed up in a toxic environment, and you need to detox, so that your body could function properly on the foods it’s designed to function on. The truth of the matter is human beings are a carbon-based species. We are designed to get our fuel from sugar. Sugar feeds every cell in the body and it’s important for regeneration and enhancement of cells. The body needs to find the fuel that comes from the simple sugars. Fruits and vegetables are where to find your simple sugars.

Because humans are frugivores, our bodies are going to run the most efficient on fructose. Fructose is the highest energetic form of monosaccharides or simple sugars. Fructose enters the cells through diffusion, however glucose needs an insulin carrier for the body to get fuel in energy. Fructose on the other hand requires no ATP or insulin and is simply pulled or absorbed through the cells by diffusion.

There is so much misinformation regarding fructose, and it’s the very fuel source that the body needs to thrive at its most optimal rate. We cannot compare natural fructose to processed fructose that’s made in the lab that causes health problems. Simple sugars found in whole foods such as fruits and vegetables are going to provide the body the most energy that it needs, and it’s the energy to the cells that is vital for optimal health. Even on a raw food diet you can eat too much protein, and the body doesn’t require protein in an excess. If you come to the terms that you’re a frugivore, you will understand that fruits are not high in protein. There’s a reason why fruits are not high in protein because the human digestive tract is not designed for high protein foods. Eating lots of protein rich leafy greens, nuts and seeds is not an optimal fuel source for the human body, and because the body is not designed for high proteins found in leafy greens and nuts and seeds, it shouldn’t be a focus on a raw food diet, because the body will soon plateau on specific diets that are not most suitable with its natural design. Foods high in protein will end up robbing your body from vital energy and create acidosis and elevate blood sugars. Simple sugars also creare alkalization of tissues. Which is vital for tissue regeneration and vitality. Fructose is the highest electrical sugar in nature and its superb for brain and nerve regeneration.

It’s very hard to be on a high-fat raw food diet, and to me it makes no sense to pursue this. What’s the point of eating salads that are soaked in olive oil, or loaded with avocados? Again you have to modify this diet to get your calories, because it’s very hard to find satiation and satisfaction with just eating salads. Why limit your fruit intake? Fruits are very satisfying, and the body naturally desires them. In your natural habitat, an abundance of fruits, leafy greens, avocados and nuts and seeds are not going to be something that you would pursue when there is an abundance of juicy sugar rich fruits growing on trees all around you.

We need to get our focus off of these fad diets, thinking that sugar is a problem, and too much fructose can cause problems. A lot of people fear sugar because they think that it will feed cancer or cause candida. What they don’t understand is that mixing fats with carbohydrates could cause fungas to proliferate much higher than a low-fat high-carb diet could ever. Well a high complex carbohydrate diet definitely can cause fungal problems, but when you’re mixing nuts seeds, avocados and olive oil with leafy green vegetables, this is mixing fats with carbohydrates which is not a good combination, and it’s not the most optimal digestion you can create for your species. For one our species is not designed to get the bulk of our calories from fats and vegetables, because it’s designed for juicy fruits that are easily digestible. Humans do not digest vegetables well, we don’t have the grinders like herbivores to grind and eat a large amount a vegetables with the heavy cellulose fiber that is not even digestible, and that’s why we learned to steam and juice our vegetables to break them down to even digest them properly and to get the nutrition we think we need from them.

I think the reason why people avoid high fruit raw food diets, and gravitate more towards the vegetables and fats is because it’s a more balancing diet, and the body doesn’t create detoxification on those types of diets. When you start eating fruit primarily for the bulk of your calories, you will experience detoxification and cleansing very rapidly. Instead of avoiding this cleaning process, this is mother nature’s gift for you to heal your body, and to clean out all the obstructions that have been blocking the flow of energy, so that you can experience true health and vitality from the foods your designed to eat which is a high fruit diet, no if ends or buts!

People are worried about not getting enough fatty acids, if they don’t eat greens, nuts, seeds, coconuts and avocados. Well the problem is with this thinking is a lack of understanding, because all fruits contain fatty acids, in their perfect ratio, and that doesn’t mean they need to be high in order to benefit from them. The most important thing you could do for yourself is to clean your body out with the fruits, so that you could create optimal absorption and utilization to even benefit from these nutrients. You will get plenty of fatty acids from juicy fruits, and do not need to add on any (overt fats) because you’re worried about not getting enough from the fruits. If you could just understand that high-fat diets are not designed for your species, then you could finally lift yourself from the confusion, and not feel gravitated and pulled towards these diets, because you have some kind of strange fear that fruits are not enough to sustain your health.

Many people will say well avocados are fruit and they’re high in fat?, well also avocados that are found in the stores these days are not wild avocados and have much more fat than the wild avocados do, and are much larger than the avocados found in nature. The avocados found wild in nature are not much bigger than macadamia nuts. For those of you that are on a high fruit, or a fruitarian diet that are eating lots of avocados, will eventually find themselves plateauing with their energy, as well as digestion. There is a good reason for this, because getting your calories from avocados is not an optimal diet in my opinion. Avocados are only in season in nature for a short period of the time, other than the large variety of juicy fruits that are very low in fat and very high in simple carbohydrates. There also is a good reason why the majority of the fruit that is grown in nature for humans, is typically a high carbohydrate and low fat fruit, yes we do have the avocados, and the olives but this is a small variety verse 90% of the thousands of fruit varieties we have access to. I think nature intended to provide these low-fat fruit sources for a reason, because it’s the primary fuel for the human design, and all the other frugivore primates in nature.

I don’t believe that we shouldn’t eat these high-fat raw foods, I just don’t think they should be the bulk of somebody’s calories if they’re trying to create optimal health, let alone detoxify and heal their bodies. When it comes to healing and detoxification, you don’t want to gravitate towards the fats and the proteins, because there are known to slow down detoxification, and also can be hard on the kidneys especially the proteins. There’s a reason why when people eat nuts and seeds their pain increases, it’s because the protein is hard on the kidneys, and also leaves behind and acid ash, especially the nuts and seeds that people usually eat and have access to, because there not wild, sprouted and improperly consumed.

I’m not big on percentages, nutrient and mineral quantities, and calories, but if we were to put a percentage on how much fat we should be eating on a raw foods diet especially when trying to create detoxification to heal our bodies, I would say 5% and no more than 10% of our calories should come from fats. Fats can be very balancing, but for detoxification and optimal digestion you do not want to consume them in high amounts. Also the kidneys function best on juicy fruits, and can get suppressed if eating too many nuts and seeds. if your going to eat nuts and seeds in my opinion they should be no greater than a small handful a day. But to understand the facts, the way that I see them, is that you don’t need nuts and seeds, or even vegetables to thrive on a raw food diet, and I strongly believe that we can live and thrive on only fruits and even fruits that are very low in fat. If I’m wrong about this, then it is quite interesting that we do have scientific documents to prove that early humans lived and thrived on fruits alone. Do you really think that early humans worried about getting there nutrition?, or thought that too much fructose was bad for them?, and that it could possibly feed cancer cells and cause candida? No this is all silly talk, and holds no ground when you keep things as simple as understanding what your species is designed for and that is primarily fruits, not nuts/ seeds and vegetables. Go ahead and eat some nuts and seeds and vegetables, but for those that are spreading misinformation about a high fruit fruitarian diet need to understand the facts before they regurgitate intellectual ideas that hold no water.

Do you want to create optimal health?, stick to a diet that is most compatible with your species design. If you want to create successful and effective detoxification and healing, then you got to go as high fruit as possible, and keep your fats and proteins to a very low percentage. If you desire to balance out with some nuts and seeds, then that’s your personal choice but to say that you absolutely need them to create optimal health is simply a myth, and is not a fact.

Just because certain people have created problems because of detoxification reasons and having a heavy toxic load in their body and not transitioning properly to an all-fruit diet doesn’t mean that an all-fruit diet is bad for you, this is not thinking properly, and needs to be more looked at with common sense. Usually those that are on high-fat high-protein and low-carb raw food diets soon find themselves plateauing with energy, and optimal digestion and soon return back to the diet that is most compatible with their species, and that’s a fruit diet and making nuts, seeds and vegetables on the low end not the high-end. Too much fat and too much protein will not create optimal health, and is not most compatible with your species design.
